Rabbi Levi Levertov was born and raised in Phoenix, and studied in Yeshivas in New York, Argentina and Toronto, culminating with his graduation from the Central Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch in 2007 with a degree in Judaic Studies. He received his Rabbinical Ordination from Rabbi Dovid Schochet, President of Vaad Ha Rabbonim (Orthodox Rabbinate) of Ontario, as well as the Chief Rabbi of the Canadian Lubavitch Community. In addition he has traveled on Chabad tours of duty in Colombia, Moscow, Canada and various cities throughout the USA, leading holiday events, youth programming and general community activism.
 
He currently is the Director of Chabad of Downtown Phoenix and the Co-director, along with his wife Chani, of Smile on Seniors of Arizona. Smile on Seniors is a volunteer program to meet the needs of the Jewish Seniors throughout the State of Arizona. The volunteer and the senior gain much from each other.
