Join our fun and inviting five session Hebrew reading crash course. In only five sessions, you will learn to read Hebrew and follow along in a prayer book.

“Read it in Hebrew”  is designed to appeal to people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. The course is open to the public, and attendees need not be affiliated with a particular synagogue, temple, or other house of worship.
 

The course focuses on teaching the Hebrew alphabet and reading skills. Participants will receive a color deck of 70, 5x7 Hebrew reading flash cards. Each class will have a corresponding PowerPoint which includes insight into the Hebrew letters.

Please Note: This is a beginner Hebrew reading course; we will not cover comprehension, grammar or advanced reading. No prior Hebrew knowledge required.
 

DATES: 5 Wednesday Evenings, beginning August 17th 7:30-8:45pm 
LOCATION: Classes will take place in the Encanto district. Exact location will be given upon registration. 
COST: $75 (includes 1 deck of Hebrew reading flash cards)
